House

The wildness of the west highlands meets contemporary design. Creag na h-Iolaire is a cinematic sanctuary, resting lightly within the terrain and blending modern Scottish architecture with understated elegance.

Larch clad with floor to ceiling glazing, a private entrance courtyard acts as a sheltered sun trap. Moving indoors, the entrance hall allows ample space to deal with outdoor gear and footwear from the day’s adventures. In the main living space, guests are greeted with extraordinary loch and mountain views contrasted with the warmth of oak boards, underfloor heating, and wood burning stove.

The modern kitchen integrates cooking and socialising with an island bench with induction cooktop and seating opposite. Equipped with quality appliances, high spec cookware, dual ovens and instant boiling water tap, the kitchen contains everything you need for straightforward self-catering through to a Michelin inspired menu. Atmospheric lighting features throughout the main living area and master bedroom. The dining space allow for an intimate social environment to suite the most special of occasions.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed with fine linen and selection of pillows. The second bedroom can be configured as a king or twin according to your needs. The master includes a freestanding bath in the glass-framed corner overlooking the loch and mountains. The en-suite and main bathroom each contain walk-in showers with overhead waterfall and handheld shower roses. The en-suite shower brings the forest and sea views inside via full length glazing positioned at an aspect to ensure complete privacy. The bathrooms are supplied with large towels and aromatic bathroom products.
